Strangers in Bali : Paparazzi

"Paparazzi....paparazzi", said the boy right when he passed me by. Truth is, I didn't even notice them both as I tried to capture the alley way in a continuous shots until he said that word blatantly - directed to me. It's been awhile since the last time I snatch some pictures of random people. This one was unintended but worth to tell in my opinion.

  4. In Sarajevo we have one small but very frequent square with a lot of small coffee shops around and I guess that's one of the most therapeutical activities I like to do with a few friends of mine, to sit, drink a coffee and watch people passing by guessing by the look and the way of dressing which are the foreigners, it can be funny game sometimes with some funny stereotipes noticed:-) It doesn't include camera but I can relate to ur wish to capture straingers around (should I add I adore Humans of New York? ;-)). Big hug xx

  6. That's what I love taking pictures. It's such a human soul in the closing frames.

  12. Haha this made me LOL! Oh boy, randomly capturing non-famous people in a shot unintentionally is not a paparazzi, you should have said "No I am not a paparazzi, you are a photo bomber" haha.

  13. It's tricky taking photos that enclude people....I often want to but am afraid for just that reason....I like the shot....maybe he would too if he saw it!

  16. Haha! Reminds me of a few pictures I've taken but it's not until I peruse through them later that I see some stranger in one of the pictures staring straight at me (or the camera) with an angry or annoyed look on their face! Always gives me a laugh.

  18. Hahaha. I love that he isn't very interested in being part of the picture, and yet you captured him looking at you straight on. Sometimes, strangers are very adamant about NOT being in others' photos. I'm slowly getting used to "populating" my photos, but sometimes people get really anxious. I just wish I could say to them, "I'm not photographing *you,* I'm photographing the *feel* of a place or a moment."

  19. that's funny. did you ask him if he was famous because i don't recognize him ;) i can definitely see why you'd be snapping photos of that alleyway, though, it looks lovely!
