2 and 2 is 3

I love looking at how people from different background, language, skin colors mix together. Whether it's romantic kind of relationship or friendship. Not that those with the same background or language is not great. But when people can have that kind level of agreement, understanding, tolerance and compromise to go through those differences, it makes this world a better place to live, doesn't it?

  1. I agree, it really should not matter at all. Friendships are such a wonderful thing!

  2. Posts like these are why I love your blog so much. You share things that really make you think and appreciate life! Understanding and accepting cultural differences can make such a difference in friendships/relationships. It's so neat to get to know someone "different" and learn about their life and history! By the way, these pictures are so awesome!

  4. I m living in a country where all sort of 'differences' (I don't see them that way, but still) are present and unfortunatelly it makes a space for the worst in people, but also for the best, for the mutual understanding, inner beauty, it gives hope and meaning to human interactions. Beautifully said. xx

  6. Niken, I'm always so amazed by the pictures you take. They are perfect in every way, the shot itself, matching your words, emphasizing what you want to say.
I agree with you - friendships and relationships that can overcome cultural differences with love and understanding for each other are very very precious.

  9. Lovely! We're all the same on the inside. Couldn't imagine friendships without all the diversity each person has to offer. We can learn so much from each other and our different backgrounds.
