Through someone else's eyes

I just got back from a few weeks travel for work. Currently I'm working on a documentary project about one of music icons in Indonesia. He was deceased due to illness about 9 years ago. For the last few weeks I went to several cities interviewing people that knew the musicians. From closest friends, ex-wife, daughter, journalist, sibling, music producer, record labels, etc.

Some of the sessions were very powerful. In one of the interviews, we all felt like the room was shrinking. Like there was some kind of energy embracing us. In one other, the interview was so emotional. It was moving. I think in each interview I got a little carried out. There were lots of mixed feeling and emotion. It's just fascinating to know someone from someone else's eyes. About the things that are said on the record and off the record.
